Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Bannada Films ("we", "our" or "us") collects, uses and protects personal information submitted through this website — specifically through the contact form on our /contact page.
2. Data We Collect
The only personal data we collect is what you choose to provide through our contact form. This includes:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your organisation (optional)
- The message you write to us
Like most websites, we may also receive basic technical information automatically (such as your IP address and browser details) that is standard for the operation of the site.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and manage our studio correspondence. When you send a message through the contact form, it is stored in the site's database (hosted on Supabase) and forwarded to our studio email inbox so that our team can reply to you.
4. Third Parties
We share only the minimum data necessary with two service providers, both acting as data processors on our behalf:
- Supabase — database hosting and storage of form submissions.
- Resend — transactional email delivery of your enquiry to our inbox.
Neither provider is permitted to use your personal data for its own purposes. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties.
5. No Marketing List, No Data Sold
We do not add your contact details to any marketing list, and we do not send promotional communications as a result of your enquiry. We never sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
6. Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain enquiry information for as long as is needed to handle your message and maintain a record of correspondence. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing contact@bannada.com, and we will respond within a reasonable period.
7. Applicable Law
We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and, for residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Under the GDPR, our legal basis for processing contact-form submissions is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, or the performance of a request you have made to us.
